Daisy was entering her senior year at UC Davis in the summer of 2017. Michael had just graduated from UCLA and moved back home to Davis for the summer. She matched with Michael on a dating app during those months. At the end of the summer, Michael moved to Seattle for work while Daisy finished up her last year in school.

After Daisy graduated, they both moved to San Francisco together. Several jobs, a pandemic, and two apartments later, they got engaged in Cabo San Lucas in May 2023. They are excited to be coming back to Mexico to celebrate their wedding with their loved ones.
